The Tagaste Monastery in Suffern, NY was built in 1952, at a time when Rockland County was mostly farmland. It has great stone architecture, and well kept grounds. The monastery is from the Order Of St. Augustine and it serves as a seminary, a meeting place, and a church, where services are offered. The folks there are very nice, I wish them a happy Easter. I walk by here a lot, almost every day when it is warm.
