Canadian Geese: not as elegant and beautiful as the swan perhaps, but resilient, and protective, and social. And isn’t that also life?

Canadian Geese

This oft abused bird,
parent, friend, bold survivor,
will not back down easily
to some loutish bully.

No, with true will,
and with true community,
this commoner affirms life
and prospers.

Maybe there is a lesson
here.
