Reis Pond Cornwall New York March 19
He: Tomorrow is the beginning of Spring!
She: Really! Wow! Why don’t we go down to the Hudson River tomorrow and celebrate?
He: Great!
Cornwall Landing Hudson River First Day Of Spring!
He: Wow! So beautiful!
She: I know! I am so glad we both thought about it!

inThe docks of Cornwall Landing
have been taken down for the winter,
the sturdy wooden poles still remain though,
and the Herring Gulls still love their perches,
landing and taking off at a moment’s notice,
gliding with the breezes that blow
and the winds that shift,
through the Valley and across the River,
as they have from the beginning of time.
