New York winters in the Ramapo Valley can be brutal. Snow, ice,
temperatures in the single digits, howling, Nor’Easter type winds.

No wonder why so many snowbirds fly down south, to Florida! I
know a few!

With that said, the air is crisp and clear, the skies are bright
blue, and whatever colors that remain are sharp and resilient.

There can be a unique beauty in a somewhat stark New York
Winter forest.
