This is my first shot at one-line haiku. The traditional division of English language haiku has been three lines matching the metrical structure of Japanese haiku, but in fact most of the original Japanese haiku that has been passed down is written in a single line.
In future one-line haiku posts I will try to add more comments about this captivating art form, some history, my own perspectives, references and the like!

Have a great, safe weekend!
