summer rhapsody
the world turns green
rivers bubble with life
meadows sparkle with sunlight

Ok, so why am I posting about Summer when
Fall has already started? Turns out, this year,
we had a pretty severe drought, most of the
Summer, and the grass never got a chance to bloom,
and was brown most of the season. Then in the last
week or so, just as Fall was beginning, the rains started
to fall! And lo and behold, the grass bloomed and turned
a vivid green. So while the air feels like Autumn, the grass
looks like Summer! With that said, it also showed, the
great regenerative powers of Nature. After weeks of
drought, a few days of rain, brought the grass back to life!
This should make us optimistic about the future and our
attempts to preserve the environment.
