The golden light shines,
the morning sparkles,
platinum, red, auburn, turquoise;
You see yourself,
your mirror speaks
with hushed breezes
without words;
Hidden secrets of love,
buried secrets of pain,
twisted secrets of angers,
buried deep within your heart;
But also, even stronger,
even more insistent,
Tender secrets of your youth,
still poised, still in motion,
still possible,
still a mystery.

poets,
there are so many of us, it seems,
walking around the highways and byways,
catching and keeping stray words and gestures,
as they drop haphazardly
into our laps.
sometimes,
we look along the avenues of nature,
tracing fireflies as they cross the night,
or we linger gently,
near the scent of roses in summer.
sometimes,
we will just sit back,
and watch the leaves fall,
and wonder, in a trance, almost,
if that could be us,
blowing here and there,
almost at random.
but today,
after so many days of rain and gloom,
i am so happy to see the blue skies,
and puffs of white clouds floating by,
and I laugh with the courtyard leaves,
as the sun dances playfully,
around their sharp edges, and colorful smiles,
before it slowly fades
beyond the horizon.

Sometimes a shot comes unexpectedly! This picture was part of a larger shot that covered a bigger portion of this bush. When I viewed the entire picture, I could see these two flowers off in the corner, and my eyes just popped out of my head! The sunlight was absolutely perfect, something I could not design! So I cropped the larger photo and produced this, completely untouched! You really need to see the full size to appreciate the beauty of these flowers, basking in the sunlight!

This is a photograph of a herb planting, at the Garden Of Hope, at Good Sam Hospital. The garden keeps growing and getting more amazing! When I looked at the slide I thought, I like the coloring and it has some of the luminosity of a Georgia O’Keeffe painting. You probably have to see the full size to get the full effect. I hope you enjoy it!
