DER FLUG (Flight), a beautiful poster, produced in the 1930s for a 1933 air show exhibition at the Zurich Tonhalle. This remarkable and rare poster was designed by an agency named Agys, and the exhibition was sponsored by the Aero Club of Switzerland.
Swiss graphic design is well known, and has been very influential through the years. This design exhibits classic simplicity, using only three basic colors, black, white, and blue. The white haloing effect around the bold, black airplane is particularly dramatic and effective.
